Good service great food

All of the food was great. The banana rum crepe was a delicious dessert.

When companies hire their family, the service will always be lacking because they know they can’t be penalized. Our waiter was so rude, it was painful to sit there. We ordered a bottle of champagne and it took 45 minutes to get to our table. The food took over 2 hours, and when we expressed it to the waiter (the owner’s brother) he was incredibly rude. Neither us, nor or friends, will be returning.

Great place for fine dining, great food and good service.

Great place for function, dates and just a great place to eat. Lakeshore Restaurant is always a favorite of mine.

I had a 10 ounce New York. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The mushrooms were outstanding.

Decent steak over booked for valentine's 1/2 wait for a reservation but otherwise good

Amazing food and amazing service. We came here for our Anniversary and our waiter made us feel as if we were in the perfect dinner scene of a romantic movie.

After seeing ads posted on Facebook about the Lakeshore’s 4 course date night menu, I thought it would be a nice idea to treat my Mother and my wife to a nice Mother’s Day meal. We picked it up from the new take out window and it was truly amazing!!! Great price, great meal and incredible service. From Paul on the phone to the nice lady that gave us our food, top notch service from beginning to end. It’s nice to see that extra effort during these terrible times. Thank you Lakeshore Steakhouse for making our evening special.

I visited the restaurant for lunch and was in for a pleasant experience. The food was good but less plentiful than for supper. But that was to be expected. The only thing I disliked was the absence of windows and the low light.

Attended here for New Year's with my parents. The service was good. One thing that was strange was the french onion soup. It came with a toasted piece of bread and a slice of what looked like processed cheese grilled on the bread. This bread with cheese slice was resting on top of the bowl. Not a typical french onion soup. Besides the french onion soup, the food was good.

Food was amazing, the decor inside is very neat, I loved looking around and taking everything in. Waiter was incredibly nice and helpful, very nice cozy spot to eat with your significant other. He enjoyed his steak with a baked potato, I really enjoyed my meal too. I'm just sad I couldnt finish it all! Definitely a little bit on the expensive side but that's what you expect for great food!Great presentation, food came in a timely manner, (the salad was also very good) Staff was great! Food was delicious. Overall great experience. Definitely a place everyone should try. I let my friends and family know about this place too!!

It is a nice and popular place for food lovers. Different kinds of food there and that's so delicious. Everybody can enjoy their food with dark and silent...

Me and my wife enjoyed the Date Meal. Its 2 can dine for $39.99 per person. You get alot more than you would with just the 2 of you grabbing normal meals, and for a decent price.

Food is fair, but the waiting time is not worth.

Good food fine dining affordable

Horrible experience at this restaurant. We waited 40 minutes for a glass of wine, and 2 hours for our meal. The wait staff largely ignored us. When we did inquire as to the wait we were met with defensiveness, told lots of people were waiting. When the food did arrive it was cold, and at best sub-par. Not once did any of their staff offer an apology, or even acknowledge the terrible service. The prices are high, and the restaurant is deemed fine dining - neither are valid. Extremely disappointed. Steer clear.

Such a lovely experience at the Lakeshore! Staff was so accommodating, friendly and overall a genuine experience. The food was done to perfection and the highlight of our evening - Co-worker of mine said her steak "Is the best she ever had in Regina", which speaks for itself, great proportions and presentation. Atmosphere was romantic and inviting, thank you Lakeshore staff and cooks! Will be back again soon!

Hubby ordered 20 ounce prime rib. He knows his prime rib and this one now tops his list (and it was definitely more than 20 ounces!) I tried Greek chicken with feta. Beautiful flavors. I loved that the owner came and spoke with at length. Loved our waiter. Great experience overall. It is too bad the outside does not reflect what is going on inside. I feel many miss out on this place due to that fact. Now that we have experienced it we will definitely be back.

We were served shrimp scampi that had soured and had a thick skin on it, basically rotten food. We sat for 2 hours waiting for our meals my "rare" primerib was cold and well done. Our meals were awful ! The people beside us at a different table looked like there food was just as poor . We used to have good meals at the lakeshore but the food has been poor quality for the last several years, long and short of it is if you are looking for a quality meal that cost between 120 to 200 dollars dont and I repeat dont go to the lakeshore go elsewhere

Fantastic restaurant and amazing service. Everything was perfect, I ordered the New York Sirloin with peppercorn sauce, cooked medium well and it was perfect. Great portion size and a very lean cut.

Fine restaurant with okay food. I had the 10 oz prime rib, cooked exactly the way I wanted. I felt it was a lot of food.

Food was ok. Prices are high but you get good sized portions. Some of the food was cold. It hasn't changed since it opened its doors. You get what you expect.

Great atmosphere. Excellent staff with the exception of the manager who was the first person to interact with us upon our arrival. He simply looked at us without saying a word. Seemed to be dismissive of us, likely because we were not their usual clientele (in our 20s rather than seniors). 4 stars instead of 5 because of this interaction. Bad way to start the evening at a restaurant on your anniversary.

So I made reservations for 6:00pm for our 25 wedding anniversary celebration. We had no problem getting our food not like other reviews. We immediately noticed the prices were not the same as there website.Once we got our food that's when things changed. We both ordered the prime rib and the prime rib looked like a pork chop well over cooked and very Tough. I could go on and on but I just thought everyone should know. We live rwo blocks away and will not return.

Food is awesome and price was good.

Food is great. Hubby loves the prime rib. It’s huge and tasty. I ordered back ribs and it’s good too. Meat falls off the bones. However I would suggest try Greek style instead of BBQ cause the BBQ sauce was strong for me but the meat is good. Ambience is a little bit old. It feels like I’m in a different era. Too dark for me too. Salad is good, I like the strawberry dressing for my toss salad. We tried dessert - the fried ice cream the caramel was too sweet for our liking. Expensive definitely but a restaurant to consider if you want something fancy.

Hard pass on this place. Booked a reservation last night and they overbooked, were completely scrambling and the food was less than picnic BBQ quality. Very plain tasting and underwhelming. Waited over half hour to be seated, sitting several people who arrived after us first. Was another half hour before anyone talked to us about food order. Waterboy was picking up glasses by the rims. We finally ate the bland food, just out of pure hunger and then the bill finally came. $150 for the an awful experience and flavourless food that was barely even warm. Spend your money somewhere better like The Diplomat.

A group of us went for lunch after our meeting. Good choice of items on the menu and lovely environment..always a good experience.

Just got back from a lovely supper with my husband, the food was amazing and the staff very elegant and delightful. Recommend the steak and lobster for 2.

Great food but could stand a visual update. This place is stuck in the 80's.

This place was beautiful, a very nice place to take somebody out for date, i am sure you will win the first battle. I always rate any place with the service I recieved and no doubt service was impeccable, they were there when we needed them, giving us ample of our time but also making sure that we are getting served well too. We ordered champagne and with calmari as starter. The food was real good and i would like to 5 out of five, as it was also served beautifully. Old style looking restaurant makes you feel a bit special. You cannot judge the book just by it cover and that saying goes with this restaurant. From outside you will think twice to enter tht place, but once you are in, you will feel the real beauty of it. I would certainly recommend this place to everyone. Specially if you are taking out somebody for date..

Food was good as usual. They had power problems so it was warm. Eventually they got the power running but I think by then it was too late for us. By tomorrow night (Jul 30) it should be fine.

Lunch special is a great deal for the price and always cooked to perfection. The serving size is just right for lunch. Staff is very courteous and attentive. Always a great experience at the Lakeshore.

My wife and I went for our anniversary and were very impressed. The service was great , the food was beyond fantastic. The steak was seasoned to perfection! The lobster was tender and not rubbery like other places I have been. Caesar salad was super delicious, the best I have every had!

We’ve been here multiple times and every time you have to wait 1.5 hours or more to get your food. Tonight we waited 30 minutes to get our drink orders. Waited 2 hours to get our food. We didn’t eat until after 9pm. We ordered 1 dessert and the waiter came back 30 minutes later to tell us it would take another half hour to get our dessert. The service was awful. The water girl acted like someone backed over her cat in the driveway. The waiter was not hospitable. I can’t say a decent thing about the night unfortunately. If you’re going to spend $150+ on a meal, go to the Diplomat.
